Sarah Palin's baby son has Down's Syndrome

Gov Sarah Palin is McCAin's Vice President pick. She is definitely a nod to the pro-life crowd, because the baby Sarah Palin gave birth to earlier this year at the age of 44 has Down's Syndrome, so the McCain campaign is hoping people will think, "Look at this wonderful powerful woman who decided to give birth to a child that she knew would have serious, life threatening health and developmental issues instead of having an abortion."

The reality is that Sarah Palin's choice to keep her pregnancy is a private family matter. Whatever happened to the idea of privacy and the government staying out of people's medical decisions?

April 2006: McCain was one of only 13 Senators to vote against $430,000,000 for the Department of Veteran Affairs for Medical Services for outpatient care and treatment for veterans.

9/19/2007: McCain voted AGAINST a bill to specify minimum periods of time between deployment of units sent to Iraq. [vote 341]

5/4/2006: McCain voted AGAINST an Amendment that would provide $20 Million to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for health care facilities. [vote 111]

4/26/2006: McCain was one of only 13 Senators to vote AGAINST $430,000,000 for the Department of Veteran Affairs for Medical Services for outpatient care and treatment for veterans. [vote 98]

3/14/2006: McCain voted AGAINST increasing Veterans medical services funding by $1.5 billion in FY 2007 to be paid for by closing corporate tax loopholes. [vote 41]

3/10/2004: McCain voted AGAINST an increase in Veterans' medical care by $1.8 billion. McCain loves tax loopholes for corporations, since he voted for them over veterans' needs. [vote 40]

10/2/2003: McCain voted to TABLE an amendment by Sen.Dodd that called for additional $322,000,000 for safety equipment for United States forces in Iraq. [vote 376]

4/2/2003: McCain voted to TABLE a vote (never passed) to provide more than $1 Billion for National Guard and Reserve Equipment in Iraq related to a shortage of helmets, tents, bullet-proof inserts, and tactical vests. [vote 116]

Joe Lieberman (remember that guy who helped Al Gore lose what should have been a winning presidential campaign?). He's a modern day Benedict Arnold. The Democratic Senator earned the moniker by spending a great deal of time in Florida campaigning for Republican Presidential nominee John McCain. The Senator is whipping the usually staunchly Democratic Jewish Florida voting base into a frenzy by placing an emphasis on Obama's race, ties to a church that gave the anti-semite Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan an award, plus, Obama's own Muslim heritage (his father was a Muslim and in Judaism, your religion is passed on to you via your patriarchal connection; Obama embraced Christianity as a youth).
