Judy Davis: not pleasant to work with.

On set, she is rude to everyone or not even acknowledging people she felt to be beneath her. It wasn't like she threw tantrums or showed up late or didn't know her lines or anything of that sort - of course she was the consummate professional in that regard. But if you were a member of the crew and she felt you to be beneath her she would actually turn her back on you or dismiss you in a contemptible manner. Doesn't sound like much, but totally humiliating and degrading if you're on the receiving end. I needed to interact with her in order to perform my own job and she just sneered at me like I was shit on her shoe. And succeeded in making me feel like shit on her shoe. And believe me, I treated her with the utmost respect and professionalism. I felt horrible until I realized she treated everyone the same way - even most of the lesser known actors in the show. She was rude and dismissive with pretty much everyone except for the director and the other stars. Although she wasn't friendly with them either - but she did grant them the privilege of acknowledging their existence. She's one cold, haughty bitch.
