Brittany Murphy suffered full cardiac arrest today and died this morning.  She was 32.  Here is video of her last public appearance at the premiere of her film Across The Hall.

The past year has been particularly unkind to her. She was written out of her supposed comeback film with Mickey Rourke and was replaced last month on The Caller, a film shooting in Puerto Rico, by Twilight actress Rachel LeFevre due to erratic behavior. Her husband of almost three years, Simon Monjack, suffered an ‘asthma attack’ after getting off the plane from Puerto Rico and Brittany did not want him to go to the hospital. Alas, he did go and was released the next day. On another set this year Murphy was described as ‘barely there‘.

Brittany was remembered by Clueless director Amy Heckerling as ‘sweet, playful, and fun‘.

Dennis Cole in his 70s heyday

Blonde, good looking actor Dennis Cole was one of the 70s hottest TV land studs. Cole died last week at the age of 69. He was married to Charlie’s Angel star Jaclyn Smith for a few years. He was also known for having a hot temper and was in ticketed for domestic battery as recently as 2007.

Let’s see – in the 1970′s he was basically banned from Paramount Studios because of his threats to actor/director Bill Bixby including his manager pulling a gun on Bixby.  Yes, there were founded allegations of his abuse of Jaclyn Smith. He was arrested for domestic battery of his then girlfriend shortly after the divorce. He was involved in a major fight with the late Chris Penn in Santa Monica in the mid 1990s that landed Dennis in the hospital. I’ve had friends run into him in Florida and they say nothing has changed. He’s drunk almost 24/7/365. More allegations of domestic abuse.

In recent years, he had moved to the Fort Lauderdale area, sold real estate, and remarried.  In 1991, his son Joe was killed in a botched robbery. Some say Cole never recovered.

Farrah Fawcett, actress and icon, has died at the age of 62 after a 2 1/2-year battle with cancer.

Michael Jackson died from a heart attack today in Los Angeles at UCLA Medical Center.

Michael’s star on the Walk of Fame is blocked off due to a movie premiere tonight. There is Jackson Family star on Vine and that is where many fans are going to at this moment.

Natasha Richardson passed away today in New York City leaving behind her husband Liam Neeson and two sons. Two days ago, she hit her head on a beginner’s ski slope just north of Montreal. Yesterday, she was flown to her home city of New York City and taken to Lennox hospital where her family all visited her to say their goodbyes. Earlier this afternoon, she was taken off life support. The cause of death was not the head injury itself, but rather an aneurysm it triggered.

From what I’ve heard, Natasha was a good actress, stellar mom, wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
